About Jenkins Insurance & Retirement
Independent Advisors. Authentic Guidance.
We built Jenkins Insurance & Retirement on a simple belief: that Wyoming and Utah families deserve honest, unbiased guidance from someone who works for them — not for an insurance company.
Our Story
Built on the belief that Medicare shouldn't be this complicated
Jenkins Insurance & Retirement was built on a family tradition of honest, straightforward insurance guidance in Wyoming and Utah. Insurance has been in the family for years — and that background shaped everything about how we work with clients.
Jenkins Insurance & Retirement is the personal insurance practice of Jordan Jenkins. Jordan is a licensed insurance agent affiliated with Complete Retirement Solutions Group (CRSG), which gives his clients access to leading insurance carriers and retirement planning solutions — with the personal, local service only an individual advisor can provide.
Too many people arrive at 65 overwhelmed by mailers, TV commercials, and conflicting advice. They end up on the wrong plan, paying too much, or missing enrollment deadlines that cost them for years. This practice exists to fix that.
As independent advisors, we're not tied to any single carrier. We work with more than 20 insurance companies and can show you the plans we offer in your zip code — then help you understand which one actually makes sense for your doctors, your medications, and your budget.
Most of our clients come from referrals. Neighbors. Children of clients. Friends of friends. That's not an accident — it's the result of putting people first, every time.

Jordan Jenkins
Independent Medicare Advisor
Jordan grew up around the insurance industry — it's been part of his family for years. He built Jenkins Insurance & Retirement to bring that same honest, personal approach to Medicare and retirement coverage for Wyoming and Utah families. He watched too many people arrive at 65 overwhelmed by confusing mailers and conflicting advice — and end up locked into the wrong plan. He's here to make sure that doesn't happen to his clients.
Jordan takes the time to compare plans from 10 carriers in your area and explain your options in plain language. He stays involved long after enrollment — reviewing coverage every Annual Enrollment Period to make sure your plan still fits as your health needs and budget change. Most of his new clients come from referrals, and he considers that the best measure of the work.
Jordan is licensed in both Wyoming and Utah and holds annual AHIP Medicare certification. When he's not helping clients, he's somewhere in the Mountain West — the same communities he's proud to serve.

Our Principles
The values that guide every client relationship
Truly Independent
We are not captive agents. We're not owned by any insurance company or required to sell any specific product. We compare plans from more than 20 carriers in your area and recommend only what genuinely fits your situation.
Education Before Everything
We won't rush you. Our job is to explain your options clearly, answer every question until you're confident, and help you understand exactly what you're enrolling in — not just hand you a stack of forms.
Long-Term Partnership
We review your coverage every year at Annual Enrollment. Plans change. Your health changes. Your budget changes. We stay involved so your coverage stays right — not just at enrollment, but for as long as you have it.
Always Free to You
Insurance carriers pay us a commission when you enroll. You pay the exact same premium whether you use us or enroll on your own. Our guidance costs you nothing — ever.
How We're Different
What “independent” actually means for you
Captive agents work for one insurance company and can only sell that company's plans. As independent advisors, we compare the whole market — here's how that changes the guidance you get.
Captive agent vs. independent advisor
Why working with an independent advisor changes the advice you get
| What matters | Captive agent | Independent advisor (us) |
|---|---|---|
| Plans they can show you | Only the one company they work for | Every carrier they contract with in your ZIP |
| Who they answer to | The insurance company that employs them | You — they’re not owned by any carrier |
| If your plan stops fitting | Limited to what their company offers | Free to move you to a better fit at any allowed time |
| What it costs you | $0 — paid by their company | $0 — carriers pay the same commission set by law |
| Yearly plan review | Re-sells the same company’s plan | Re-shops the whole market for you each year |
Both kinds of agent are typically free to you — the difference is how many options they can compare.
Carrier Relationships
Contracted with 10 of the nation's leading carriers
Because we're independent, we have contracts with 10 of the nation's leading insurance carriers — so we can always find the right fit, not just the available one.
Available carriers vary by state and county — ask which options serve your area.
