2-Minute Coverage Check

Is Your Coverage Due for a Review?

Eight quick questions, no personal information required. You'll get a plain-English list of the warning signs that it's worth comparing your plan — not a price, and not a verdict, just what to look at.

Educational only. This check does not tell you whether you are overpaying, determine eligibility, or recommend a plan — it points out things worth reviewing. A licensed advisor can compare real plans and pricing for your ZIP code at no cost.

Who this is for

This check is for people who already have coverage and wonder if it's still a good deal — not for choosing a plan for the first time. If you're deciding between Medicare, Medigap, Medicare Advantage, or an ACA plan, our Coverage Quiz is the better starting point.

Questions & Answers

Common Questions

Will this tell me if I'm overpaying?

No — and that's on purpose. No online quiz can honestly tell you that without comparing real plans and pricing for your exact ZIP code, doctors, and medications. What this check does is show you the specific warning signs that mean a plan is worth reviewing, so you know whether it's worth a closer look.

Is it really free?

Yes. The check is free, and so is a follow-up plan review with a licensed advisor. Jenkins Insurance & Retirement is an independent practice paid by insurers, never by the people we help — you pay nothing either way.

When is the best time to review my plan?

For Medicare, the Annual Enrollment Period each fall (October 15 – December 7) is when you can change Medicare Advantage and Part D plans for the coming year. ACA Marketplace plans have their own Open Enrollment in the fall. But some life changes open a special window any time of year — a review can tell you which applies to you.

Do I have to switch plans if I take the check?

Not at all. Plenty of people run the check, find their plan still fits, and keep it with more confidence. The goal is clarity, not a switch — a good advisor will tell you when staying put is the right move.

Want a Real Comparison?

A licensed advisor can compare actual plans and pricing for your ZIP code, your doctors, and your prescriptions — and tell you honestly whether a switch would help or your current plan is already a good deal.
